By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an order, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Production, Shipping & After-Sales Policy.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

2. Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country or region.
A person who has not reached the applicable age of legal capacity may use the website or place an order only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to us is accurate, complete, and current.
3. Customer Accounts
You may be able to create a customer account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password;
- Restricting access to your account;
- Providing accurate account information;
- Informing us promptly of suspected unauthorized use.
You may not transfer, sell, share, or misuse an account.
We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these terms.
4. Products and Handmade Variations
Canvas & Paws sells personalized and handmade pet keepsakes.
Product photographs, samples, mockups, measurements, colors, and descriptions are provided for general reference. Screens, lighting, photography, materials, and handmade methods may affect the appearance of a finished item.
Reasonable variations may occur in:
- Shape;
- Size;
- Texture;
- Color;
- Material grain;
- Engraving;
- Carving;
- Brushwork;
- Stitching;
- Felting;
- Positioning;
- Artistic interpretation;
- Other handmade details.
Minor handmade or artistic differences are not defects.
Personalized products are artistic interpretations based on the photographs and information supplied by the customer. We do not guarantee an exact photographic reproduction.
5. Customer Photographs and Customization Materials
You may submit photographs, names, text, descriptions, artwork, or other materials for a personalized order.
By submitting materials, you confirm that:
- You own the materials or have permission to use them;
- Our use of the materials to fulfill the order will not violate another person’s rights;
- The materials do not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or infringing content;
- Any people identifiable in the materials have provided any permission required by law;
- The information and customization instructions are accurate.
You grant us and our authorized production providers a limited, non-exclusive license to copy, crop, resize, adapt, transmit, and use the submitted materials only as reasonably necessary to:
- Review the order;
- Create the personalized product;
- Communicate with you;
- Conduct quality control;
- Arrange an approved correction, remake, or replacement;
- Maintain necessary business and legal records.
We will not use a customer’s photographs for public advertising, social-media content, promotional portfolios, or unrelated commercial purposes without separate permission or another valid legal basis.
We may refuse materials that are unsuitable, unlawful, technically unusable, or inconsistent with our product requirements.
6. Photo Quality and Customer Instructions
The quality and accuracy of the finished item depend partly on the reference materials provided.
Customers should submit clear, well-lit, high-resolution photographs that accurately show the pet’s:
- Face;
- Eyes;
- Ears;
- Coat color;
- Markings;
- Body shape, where relevant;
- Other distinctive features.
We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by:
- Blurry, dark, filtered, cropped, or low-resolution photographs;
- Hidden or unclear features;
- Inconsistent photographs;
- Incorrect color descriptions;
- Missing customization information;
- Incorrect names, dates, spelling, sizes, or options provided by the customer.
We may request additional photographs or information. Production and delivery estimates may be extended while we wait for the customer’s response.
7. Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may review an order before accepting it. We may reject or cancel an order before production starts because of:
- Product unavailability;
- Pricing or listing errors;
- Payment failure;
- Suspected fraud;
- Unsupported delivery location;
- Unsuitable reference materials;
- Unlawful or inappropriate customization;
- Technical or operational limitations.
A binding sales contract is formed when we accept the order, begin production, or send confirmation that the order has been accepted, whichever occurs first.
If we cancel an order before production because we cannot fulfill it, amounts paid for the cancelled item will be refunded to the original payment method.
8. Prices, Payment, Taxes, and Currency
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.
We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect an order already accepted.
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing valid payment information;
- Paying the displayed product price;
- Paying shipping charges shown at checkout;
- Paying applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, and import fees unless expressly included;
- Paying any currency-conversion or bank fees charged by their payment provider.
Prices and availability may be corrected where a clear technical, typographical, or listing error has occurred. Where an accepted order is affected by a material pricing error, we will contact the customer before proceeding.
Payment may be collected at the time the order is placed.
9. Production Start
An order is considered to have entered production when:
- We have received and reviewed the required photographs and customization information; and
- The order has been assigned to an artist, maker, workshop, or production provider for custom work.
Custom work may include:
- Sketching;
- Digital preparation;
- Modeling;
- Material preparation;
- Cutting;
- Carving;
- Engraving;
- Casting;
- Shaping;
- Coloring;
- Sewing;
- Felting;
- Polishing;
- Assembly;
- Other work performed specifically for the order.
Our internal production record or a production-start notification may be used to determine when production began.
10. Changes and Cancellations
Before production starts
You may contact us to request an order change or cancellation before production begins.
A requested change is not effective until confirmed by us in writing. Price differences and additional fees may apply.
If the order has not entered production, we may approve a cancellation and refund the eligible amount to the original payment method.
After production starts
Once an order has entered production:
- It cannot be cancelled for change-of-mind or other personal reasons;
- It cannot be returned because it is no longer wanted;
- A refund is not available solely because the customer changes their mind;
- Changes to photographs, names, text, colors, size, style, material, or other options are not guaranteed.
We may, at our discretion, approve a limited change after production starts. Additional production charges and additional time may apply.
Nothing in this section limits remedies that must be provided for damaged, incorrect, defective, or non-conforming products under applicable law or our Production, Shipping & After-Sales Policy.
11. Proofs and Customer Approval
Some products may include a digital design proof or confirmation step.
Where a proof is provided, the customer is responsible for reviewing:
- Pet appearance;
- Layout;
- Text;
- Spelling;
- Dates;
- Colors;
- Size;
- Product options;
- Other visible details.
Approval authorizes us to continue production.
We are not responsible for an error visible in a proof that the customer approved, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Minor differences between a digital proof and a handmade physical product are normal.
A failure to respond to a proof or information request may delay production. We may pause or, where reasonably necessary, cancel an unstarted order if the customer does not respond after reasonable contact attempts.
12. Production and Delivery Estimates
Production and delivery times are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a date in writing.
Estimated timeframes may be affected by:
- Product complexity;
- Number of pets;
- Photograph quality;
- Requested revisions;
- Material availability;
- Production volume;
- Public holidays;
- Customs processing;
- Carrier delays;
- Severe weather;
- Remote delivery locations;
- Events outside our reasonable control.
Production time and shipping time are separate.
Further details are provided in our Production, Shipping & After-Sales Policy.
13. Shipping, Tracking, and Customs
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
Tracking information will be provided where supported by the selected shipping method.
Tracking may be limited or temporarily unavailable while an international shipment is transferred between carriers or processed through customs.
International customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, customs fees, and local handling fees unless otherwise stated at checkout.
We are not responsible for a delay, loss, return, or failed delivery caused by:
- An incorrect or incomplete address;
- Failure to collect a package;
- Refused delivery;
- Unpaid duties or taxes;
- Failure to respond to a carrier;
- Customer-requested forwarding;
- Customs inspection;
- Carrier disruption outside our reasonable control.
Additional shipping charges may apply when a package must be sent again because of a customer-provided address issue, refused delivery, failure to collect, or unpaid customs charge.
14. Returns, Remakes, Replacements, and Refunds
Personalized products cannot normally be resold.
We do not accept returns or provide refunds solely because:
- The customer changed their mind;
- The product is no longer needed;
- The customer simply does not like the product;
- The customer expected a different artistic interpretation;
- The customer ordered an incorrect option;
- The customer supplied incorrect information;
- A minor handmade variation is present.
Customers must report damaged, incorrect, missing, or materially defective products within the period stated in our Production, Shipping & After-Sales Policy and provide the requested evidence.
After reviewing a valid claim, we may provide an appropriate remedy such as:
- Correction;
- Repair;
- Remake;
- Replacement;
- Replacement shipment;
- Partial refund;
- Full refund.
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances, applicable law, available evidence, and whether the issue can reasonably be corrected.
Customers must not return an item without receiving return instructions. Unauthorized returns may be rejected.
15. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions, discount codes, and special offers:
- May be subject to separate terms;
- May have an expiry date;
- May apply only to selected products or customers;
- May not be combined unless expressly permitted;
- Have no cash value;
- May be withdrawn before use;
- May be refused where misuse, fraud, or technical error is suspected.
Discounts do not apply retroactively unless expressly stated.
16. Reviews and Other Public Content
You may be able to submit a review, comment, photograph, or other public content.
You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, and distribute it in connection with our website and business.
This section applies only to content you intentionally submit for public display. It does not automatically authorize public use of private order photographs.
You must not submit public content that:
- Is false or misleading;

- Is abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful;

We may moderate or remove public content where reasonably necessary.

- Scrape or systematically extract website data;
- Reverse engineer website technology;
- Resell or distribute unauthorized copies of our designs;
- Use our intellectual property in unlawful or misleading content.
18. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website:
- For unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- To violate intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- To submit malicious code;

- To harass employees, makers, contractors, or other customers;
- To collect information about others without authorization;
- In any way that could damage the website or our business.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment providers, social-media platforms, shipping carriers, and technical providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for content, availability, acts, omissions, or practices outside our reasonable control.
20. Website Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or service.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may perform maintenance, correct errors, update products, or restrict access where reasonably necessary.
21. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The website is provided on an “as available” basis;
- Product images and descriptions are illustrative;
- Handmade products may contain reasonable variations;
- Production and delivery dates are estimates;
- We do not guarantee that website content will be free of minor errors;
- We disclaim implied warranties to the extent they may lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Canvas & Paws will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, opportunity, data, or business reputation.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability relating to a particular order will generally not exceed the total amount paid for that order, except where applicable law requires a different result.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or other legally non-excludable circumstances.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- Your unlawful use of the website;
- Your material breach of these terms;
- Materials you submitted without the necessary rights or permissions;
- Fraudulent conduct;
- Your violation of another person’s rights.
This section does not apply where the loss was caused by our own breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
24. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Epidemics or public-health emergencies;
- War, civil unrest, or government action;
- Customs restrictions;
- Carrier disruption;
- Labor disputes;
- Power, network, or platform outages;
- Material shortages;
- Fire, flood, or severe weather;
- Other comparable events.
We will take reasonable steps to communicate material delays and resume performance when reasonably possible.
25. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe a user:
- Has violated these terms;
- Has acted fraudulently or unlawfully;
- Has threatened website or payment security;
- Has abused our staff or service providers;
- Has created unreasonable risk or liability.
Termination does not affect rights and obligations that arose before termination.
26. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service and contracts formed under them are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you and Canvas & Paws agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting the other party and providing a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a competent court at the place where Ganzhou Yuda Trading Co., Ltd. is registered.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory rights or access to a court or dispute procedure that cannot legally be excluded in the consumer’s country or region.
27. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
28. No Waiver
A failure or delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
29. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written permission.
We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, sale, or transfer of our business, provided that applicable customer rights remain protected.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in the website, products, business operations, or applicable requirements.
The revised terms will be posted with an updated date. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
The terms in effect when an order is accepted will generally govern that order.
31. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, Production, Shipping & After-Sales Policy, product-page information, and any order-specific written agreement, form the agreement between you and Canvas & Paws concerning the purchase and use of our services.
